Which Mortgage Should I Switch to?

There are many mortgages to choose from
There are many mortgages to choose from

The best mortgage to switch to depends on your individual circumstances.

Switching your mortgage is a fast and simple procedure, but choosing the right loan is very important to get the best deal possible. Sometimes, the most competitive rate may not be the ideal mortgage, as some borrowers need other factors such as long-term security or flexibility from their mortgage.

Some borrowers use switching their mortgage to move from an interest-only mortgage to a repayment mortgage.

Repayment mortgages mean that every month the borrower pays off a small amount of the capital as well as the interest. When the term ends, the borrower therefore owes nothing to the lender. With interest-only mortgages, monthly repayments are lower, but the borrower is just servicing the interest on the loan rather than touching the capital.

Switching your mortgage is an ideal time to search the market and find the mortgage loan most suitable for your circumstances, at the best rate possible.
