Redrow offers new homes for mortgage hunters
Mon, 15 Oct 2007
Mortgage hunters in Edinburgh may be boosted by the news that development company Redrow is set to create new homes in nearby Prestonpans.

Located 15 miles from the historic Scottish city, the development could offer buyers the ideal tonic, providing a "dream" home and location all in one package, the company claims.

Any first-time buyers or home movers considering looking to take out a mortgage on one of these offerings should take note, as the official launch takes place on the weekend of October 20th and 21st.

Diana Newton, sales director for Redrow Homes (Scotland), noted that the launch will be a great opportunity for prospective buyers to have a good look at what they will be splashing their mortgage cash on; but she warned that demand is high.

"The Potteries really is a development that ticks every box - with easy access to Edinburgh and the A1, buyers are able to enjoy a wealth of exciting leisure and retail opportunities but get more for their money than what they would living in the city centre," she added.

Elsewhere Barratt has won an award for the best development in Essex .
