For the third consecutive week, Mortgage 2000 has launched an exclusive mortgage deal, designed specifically for customers with adverse credit problems .
The Light Touch mortgage is available in association with Universal Building Society , exclusive to the m2-mortgage club .
The poor credit mortgage accepts up to £2,500 in CCJs as well as two months mortgage arrears .
A mortgage rate of 5.84 per cent is offered on the light poor credit mortgage . Mortgage borrowers will also receive £250 cashback and could qualify for a free valuation .
Mortgage 2000's product manager, Chris Burton, says he is "enthusiastic" about launching the poor credit mortgage as it brings a "new element" to the m2-mortgage club .
"By working with provincial lenders like the Universal BS, as well as normal high street providers, I hope to produce an unbeatable range of exclusive products in the market," Mr Burton comments.
He adds that people with adverse credit problems who have just missed out on a prime mortgage could use the Light Touch mortgage to get back onto the property ladder with a mortgage rate that is competitive and "a much appreciated cashback".
