iGroup Mortgage Lender

iGroup is a part of GE money which was launched in October 2005. This in turn is a division of the General Electric Company USA which was founded in 1892. It is aimed at intermediaries who then advise customers.

Intermediaries are organisations or individuals that specialise in arranging mortgages for their customers via a range of mortgage providers, but who do not provide mortgages themselves.

iGroup’s products are marketed as GEM Mortgages under the iGroup brand. GEM’s interest rates are linked to Barclays Bank base rate. iGroup have the following mortgages:

  • Variable Trackers
  • Fixed Rate
  • Discount Rate

It currently offers fixed rate mortgages for 1, 2, 3 and 4 years and discount mortgages for 1 and 2 years.

The rates of mortgage products are set according to the individual customer’s personal credit record. The better your credit history the lower the rate you will get.
