ABOUT Amber Homeloans

Amber Homeloan's (AHL) products are only available through intermediaries. They provide mortgages for all of the lending market including people who are considered high adverse. AHL also provide mortgages for lending panels and also sell and manage property portfolios.

AHL has mortgage categories will be which will determine what rate and product they will offer you. These are:

Amber Prime
Feather Adverse
Light Adverse
Medium Adverse
Heavy Adverse
Super Heavy Adverse
Bespoke

Factors that will be assessed to determine which category you fall into include: If you have any CCJs (County Court Judgments) and how old they are If you have defaulted on any previous payments If you have missed any previous mortgage payments AHL mainly have Discount and Fixed rate mortgages: Early repayment charges and application fees are standard A cash back offer may apply A higher lending charge may also apply
Some of AHL products are linked to a 3 month LIBOR which is the London Inter Bank Offered Rate. They also have specialist mortgages: Self-Certification for people who are self employed 100% LTV this mortgage will let you borrow the entire value of the property you want to buy Buy to Let – to buy a property for investment purposes. To qualify for this type of mortgage you will either have to provide previous payslips or credited account for the last 2 years if you are self-employed
