The Mortgages.co.uk interest rate tracker monitors the Bank of England's base rate (interest rate) and informs its users as soon as changes to the base rate are made.
What's more, those signed up to the Rate Alert newsletter will receive instant notification of any changes to the base rate as soon as they are made.
The last interest rate decision was made on May 8, 2008.
The base rate was held at 5%.
Historical Data
Historical data for Bank of England base rate changes since the year 2000. When a month is not mentioned, this indicates the prior interest rate was held.
